Since a young age, I have dedicated my life to caring for animals. With over 27 years of professional experience, including managing a pet resort and working as a veterinary assistant, I am devoted to helping animals feel safe, loved, and cared for. Desert Canyon Pet Lodge is a reflection of my lifelong passion and commitment.

I handle the behind-the-scenes magic ensuring our home is secure, comfortable and welcoming for every client that walks through our doors. From building safe spaces to pet time and play, I do whatever needs to be done to create a happy, loving, home environment.

Growing up with a variety of animals, our boys understand the level of responsibility for proper animal care. Their calm, kind, attentive personalities help our canine clients feel comfortable and loved.

Our Chihuahua mix tends to run the household. He is loud by nature, taking his job to alert or play very seriously. When he's not talking, he is extremely cuddly. He lives and breaths for food or snacks of any kind.

At Desert Canyon Pet Lodge, we understand that leaving your beloved companion can be emotionally difficult—for both you and your dog. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment that helps minimize the stress of being away from home.

We strive to create a space that feels like home, where your dog can relax, feel secure, and receive personalized attention. With over 27 years of experience caring for animals, we have developed the knowledge and understanding to recognize that every dog is unique. We take the time to create, adapt, and adjust care to fit your dog’s individual personality, interests, routines, and needs.

Our home is designed with your small dog's comfort and safety in mind. Visiting pups enjoy spacious living areas, plush beds and rugs for napping, and a couch to lounge on. We ensure an attentive, enriched environment where every dog feels cherished.

Dogs get supervised outdoor access into our secure, dog-friendly desert yard, thoughtfully fenced and landscaped for safe exploration. Our fencing is six feet in height with double bars to block any small gaps to keep dogs enclosed and safe. It’s a natural extension of our living space, offering outdoor activities or relaxation under the Arizona sun.
